Diesel, petrol prices turn dearer by around Rs3 per litre today A day after appreciating the union budget, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi requested the central government to revoke the basic duty reimposed on diesel and increased central excise on diesel, which have pushed up its price.
